Bamboo Terrestrial Globe

Danish designer - Kristoffer Zeuthen recently designed "Bamboo Globe". The purpose of this design is to raise public awareness - to respect and protect our solely beautiful planet. The diameter of 25 cm bamboo globe stressed that environmental protection is how to make the earth more beautiful. Designer combines modern mapping techniques to design a clean and simple selection of fonts to label. The surface of the globe is made of bamboo, white steel rod as the globe support, simulating the Earth's natural inclination of the state. Bamboo globe base is made of solid bamboo panel, round shape and clear bamboo appearance. Bamboo globe is also equipped with an internal light bulb, when needed, can be turned into a lamp.

The major material is bamboo, not plastic or paper, by using carbonized horizontal bamboo, fonts can easily display on globe. Bamboo is very flexible for kinds of designs and crafts - laser cut, letters print, various shapes creation. Bamboo panels have very wide applications, not only regular furniture and doors, but also small and exquisite products. Bamboo can replace all of wood usages, but can expand more because bamboo can be milled for difficulty shapes without breakage, bamboo is harder and more strong than most of wood.

Bamboo globe shows the most important point that we need do everything we can protect our planet which is the only place for human being living in the moment, environmental protection is long lasting action for all of us, bamboo is the symbol of green material and represents the renewable development of economy.
