Formaldehyde is an organic compound with the formula CH2O. It is the simplest aldehyde, hence its systematic name methanol.

Formaldehyde is a colorless, poisonous gas; people under long-term exposure may cause nose, mouth, throat, skin and digestive tract cancer. The main formaldehyde in house is from various types of wood, furniture and paint and other decorative materials.

According to mandatory standards, close the windows and doors 1 hour, per cubic meter of indoor air, not more than 0.08 milligrams of formaldehyde emission;

• If reached 0.1-2.0 mg, 50% of people can smell the smell;
• Reached 2.0-5.0 mg, eyes, trachea will get a strong incentive, sneezing, coughing and other symptoms;
• Over 10 mg or more, people is breathing difficulties;
• Over 50 mg or more, people will lead to pneumonia and other severe diseases and even death.

• E0 means formaldehyde emission is less than 0.02p.p.m.
• E1 means formaldehyde emission is less than 0.01p.p.m.
• E2 means formaldehyde emission is over 1.0p.p.m.
