Bamboo charcoal is made from bamboo dust, saw powder by compressing the residue into sticks of a certain shape and carbonizing the sticks. The carbonization is done in a brick kiln at over 800 centigrade temperatures. The output efficiency is 100 kg of bamboo saw powder produces 20 kg bamboo charcoal.
