Floor heating installation

Floor heating system is getting more and more popular in north of world, like Europe, North America, Russia and North of China. Floor heating has water heating and electric heating. Floor heating is popular but people have less knowledge of installation and maintenance.

In the heating rooms, the first heating only can get started in 24 hours after installation. In the beginning heating 3 days, the temperature need go up day by day, first day, the water temperature is 18 centigrade, second day is 25 and third day is 30. From the fourth day, it can be normal water temperature, that is water temperature is 45 and floor temperature is 28-30 centigrade. Please DO NOT increase temperature too fast, otherwise, it could cause flooring to be twisting after swollen.

Suitable water temperature for bamboo flooring or hardwood flooring can't be over 45 centigrade and surface floor temperature can't be over 30 centigrade. With over temperature, it will influence flooring usage life. The moisture will go down when temperature goes up, when flooring came out of our factory, we put them in the condition room and make moisture content is 8-10%. When moisture content in the air is low than 8%, bamboo flooring will get shrinking, then there will have a gap between boards with boards. So, correctly controlling the temperature is the good for protecting bamboo flooring, also for saving energy.

For electric heating system, the heating system should be shut down if there is water coming out. The system only can be re-started after this problem is fixed.

Maintenance tips for floor heating system.

• When winter is coming, please double check the connection has leakage or not, this is most important before turning on the system.
• When the weather gets warm, please shut off the heating system step by step, not in one day. Too fast shut-off could destroy the flooring as well. It needs a few days to reducing the temperature to get it closed.
